Meet the Team: Getting to Know Hannah Henderson
With three years in the marketing industry and a solid foundation in the legal sector, my career has always been driven by content. Before joining First4Lawyers, I worked as a content writer at a law firm. That role gave me a great introduction to legal jargon, which has really helped me understand and simplify the content we produce here at F4L.
Most of my career so far has been in the legal industry, and having that background has been incredibly useful in shaping how I approach our B2C content, especially on the website and across our social media platforms. I’m passionate about creating content that resonates with people, especially those who might be feeling unsure or overwhelmed by the idea of making a legal claim.
Proud Moments and Creative Wins
One of my proudest moments at F4L was being named Employee of the Quarter last year. It was a great feeling to be recognised for the work I put in, and it really motivated me to keep finding new ways to improve what we do.
Something I’m especially proud of is suggesting we use Lumen5 to introduce more video content. It’s helped us bring a new dimension to our written work and repurpose content in a way that’s more engaging, particularly on social media. It’s great to see new ideas being embraced and making a difference.
Life at First4Lawyers
One of the things I enjoy most about working at First4Lawyers is the creative freedom we’re given. I’m always encouraged to bring forward new suggestions, and that kind of environment really fuels creativity and keeps the content fresh and relevant.
Another thing that stands out to me is the diverse skillset within the marketing team. I work alongside people whose roles are quite different from mine, but we often get the chance to collaborate and learn from each other, which is something I really value.
The F4L values that resonate most with me are integrity and client focus. My main goal when creating content is to make things as clear and honest as possible. Legal processes can feel really daunting, and I want to make sure people feel informed and supported from the very beginning.
Life Outside of Work
Outside of work, I love reading, cooking, and getting out and about with my spaniel, Phoebe. Taking her on new adventures is one of my favourite ways to unwind, she’s full of energy, so she definitely keeps me on my toes! Unsurprisingly, I love animals and my dream job was to be a vet.
And something my colleagues might not know about me? I’m a big Bee Gees fan, it usually surprises people!
